Program Coordinator

Responsible for coordinating activities and services for two sites for elementary students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. Oversee staff and ensure grant compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education or Social Science
Adept at developing, organizing and managing multiple programs and activities
Ability to communicate effectively with sensitivity to cultural differences
Self directed and able to work independently
Energetic, resourceful and creative
Previous experience working with elementary aged youth



Lead Education Instructor

Responsible for providing a full range of education enhancement ac¬tivities for after school program to children 5 to 12 years of age. This is a part-time position after school/summer that reports to the Program Coordinator.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education & current teaching certification
One year teaching experience with at-risk youth
Provide classroom instruction and tutorial assistance
Develop, implement and supervise a program of extra-curricular activities
Maintain updated records and files. Insure confidentiality of all records and files
Prepare a monthly and quarterly program reports and any other required documentation



Recreation Instructor

Responsible for providing a full range of recreational and sports-related ac¬tivities for after school program to children 5 to 12 years of age. This is a part-time position after school/summer that reports to the Program Coordinator.

Qualifications

At least one year experience directly relating to the job duties
Experience supervising indoor/outdoor games and other recreational and sports-related activities with elementary level students
Implement after school & summer recreation programming activities
Monitor daily attendance, behavior and recreation progress of participants
